The latest changes have been:

New version released on: 19 February 2017 (V7.3)

Dashboard:

  • The button 'New meeting' has been added which allows users to submit an entirely new meeting in the Association Database. After approval by the Research Dept., the meeting will be added to the Association Database.

Search:

  • In the advanced search, only live/archived Business Exchange sessions can be searched on.
  • New RFP details submitted by the Research dept. can now be found via a direct link from the LinkedIn ICCA RFP Group. Login is required.

Result list:

  • Bookmarks are shown in the results list. Bookmarks can be turned on/off in the listing.
  • Recurring meetings are displayed first in the result list.

Profile:

  • Business Exchange tab: empty Business Exchange forms are no longer being displayed.
  • Organisation tab: personal email, phone and fax of the contact person are now displayed, if available.
  • Fix of the date of updated meeting profile.
  • Essentials tab, Bug in editions number fixed.
  • A Reconsider meeting button is added to the left menu in the profile. The form will enable members to report meetings that in their view should be considered for exclusion for the following reasons:
    • This meeting appears to be corporate
    • This meeting appears to be governmental
    • This meeting attracts less than 50 participants
    • This is a bogus meeting and of no academic or scientific value
    • A similar meeting has been rejected for my destination
    • Other.
  • New meeting editions can be submitted via the left menu in the profile.
  • Synchronisation issue with regard to complete/incomplete meetings has been fixed.

Saved selection:

  • You can now sort the saved selections by description and edit date

Export/print/pdf:

  • Bug in event id / HOFNR has been fixed.
  • Bug with regard to incomplete profiles not exported has been fixed.

Update Form:

  • Bug fix with regard to duplicate forms displayed.

Search:

  • Dates fields have been adjusted. It is now easier to navigate to years outside of the initial set scope of 20 years. You should now be able to scroll to the other years.

Exports:

  • The personal notes attached to a profile do no longer contain html codes.

Dashboard:

  • An alert will inform members of upcoming maintenance.

Search:

  • Rotation area pop-up displays values alphabetically.

Profile:

  • Synchronisation issue has been resolved, resulting in displaying all updated fields.
  • Opening meeting editions from the result screen bug (scrolling to the meeting edition twice) has been solved.
  • In the Organisation tab the full names of series are now being displayed.
  • In Essentials tab and meeting profiles, the Meeting Insider can add/edit/remove its own details. Meeting Insiders profiles are no longer duplicated.
    Meeting Insiders are also highlighted in the Bookmarks section.

Exports:

  • In some cases the browser’s Firefox Mozilla pop-up blocker prevents from exporting. A link to the User manual was added explaining how to fix this problem in the browser.

Bookmarks/Notes:

  • The order and information of the meeting profiles displayed has changed into:
    • General meeting name
    • Organisation name
    • Name meeting edition

Saved selection:

  • Removed the alert informing members that the saved selections were moved from an older version of the Association Database. All selections have been successfully transferred to the current version of the Association Database.

Dashboard:

  • Search button Hosted Buyer profiles of ibtm world have been added. Only members who registered for Personal Connections may view the additional information.

Free text search:

  • The bug displaying more text (than entered) has been solved.

Exports:

  • Optimised for tablets. Export maximum for tablets set to 50 profiles.
  • Date fields have been converted from numeric to text/date fields: Related fields: Essentials tab: SEDITDATE; Meeting Editions tab: INPUTDATE, EDITDATE, iuntil.
  • Bug related to exporting all Bookmarked records has been fixed.
  • User notes related to meeting editions can now also be exported.
  • Bug fixed in organisation export where sometimes not all records were exported.

Profile:

  • Essentials tab: the member can edit the Meeting Insider contact details connected to specific meeting editions.

Bookmarks:

  • The member can see in the profiles if a Meeting Insider is attached to the meeting profile; a purple icon has been added.

Print/pdf:

  • Bug in the section Tailor-made, Selection criteria has been fixed. All selection criteria can now be added to the print/pdf.
  • Bug related to printing multiple Business Exchange profiles has been fixed.
  • The bug related to applying the correct meeting editions' year range has been fixed.
  • The print order of Notes/Bookmarks has been corrected.
  • User notes of meeting editions can now be printed as well.
  • An alert now appears when a user tries to print/pdf more than 50 profiles (exceeds the maximum of 50).
  • The decision making link has been added to the print profile in the Essentials section.
  • Some international organistion address details were not visible on the print out. This has been fixed.

Meeting Insiders:

  • Adjusted and improved is the module: Meeting insiders in which ICCA members can indicate they are willing to share additional information related to the meeting's bidding, decision-making process, budgets, etc.

Dashboard: 

  • The wrong counter related to the number of Business Exchange profiles has been fixed.

Search:

  • The bug related to the pop-ups in the Advanced search which were partly disappearing under the top navigation bar, has been fixed.
  •  Free text search automatically displays all keywords entered (instead of just a part of the keywords).

Result list:

  • Profiles containing user notes are highlighted with the orange ‘N’ icon. Clicking on the icon will display a part of the notes (the first lines).

Profile:

  • Essentials tab: In this digital era ICCA researchers have found less information that needed to be scanned in. For this reason, this scanning procedure no longer takes place and the information has been removed from the Association Database. The link to any piece of information that ICCA researchers now believe to be of extra value to the members is communicated via the remarks field (in Essentials and/or in Organisation).
  • The counting of meeting editions in the meeting editions overview has been corrected.

Notes:

  • A small number of members could not find their old notes. The transfer of notes from the old version to the new version has been fixed for these members. 

Export/Print/pdf:

  • The export, print and pdf functionalities have now been optimised for iOS. The maximum number of records is 50 records per print/pdf.
  • The printed profile now also contains the date when the note has been added.

Submitting new Business Exchange forms:

  • The button: ‘Save registration form’ has been renamed to: ‘Submit’. This has been implemented to avoid confusion; members can only submit a new Business Exchange form (they cannot save it).
     


New version released on: 29 September 2015 (V4)

General:

  • Top menu navigation has been optimised.
  • The User manual contains a section in which the calculation of the average attendance is explained.

Dashboard:

  • Hosted Buyers at IMEX America can now be found by clicking on the IMEX America button. Note that conditions apply: only member exhibitors who registered for the IMEX America Monday evening may see the Hosted buyers information.

Search:

  • In the Advanced search pop-up explanations have been added for each section and links have been added to the User manual.
  • Search by state has been added (Australia, U.S.A. and Canada). Users can search on state where the organisation is based and state where meetings took/will take place.
  • Searching on meetings which took/will take place in multiple destinations is made possible.

Profile:

  • social media links (Twitter and LinkedIn) have been added to the organisations (when found by the research dept).
  • A new Business Exchange form can only be submitted once per member per BE session. Only after approval the user can update the record.

Print/pdf:

  • Selection criteria can now be printed.
  • Bug fixed when multiple Business Exchange forms are available per meeting, all forms can now be printed.
  • Bug fixed in selection print options.
  • When selecting specific profiles to print, the order of Notes/Bookmarks is now the same as the list. Also the incomplete profiles can be selected.
  • The option ‘all’ also includes the personal notes added by the user.
  • Only the last saved personal notes of the user will be printed.
  • Bug related to printing from Chrome menu has been solved.

Export:

  • Bug fixed all Bookmarks can now be exported.
  • Only the last saved personal notes of the user will now be exported.
  • Bug related to exporting organisations has been fixed.
  • In Excel sheet1 (Important notes) the text has been moved from a textbox to cells.
  • When selecting specific profiles to export, the incomplete profiles can now be selected (and will be printed when the ‘incomplete data’ box has been selected.

Saved selections

  • In the saved selection, when pressing the bin icon a pop-up will ask to reconfirm deleting the selection permanently.

Report an update:

  • Small bugs have been fixed. One duplicate field has been removed.

General:

  • Top menu no longer disappears, some design improvements were implemented.

Search:

  • Selecting multiple values in a dropdown has been optimised.

Hot leads result list

  • The bug in the edit dates of Hot Leads has been adjusted. You can now view/sort by recently added profiles.


Export:

  • Problem with maximum number of organisation profiles to export has been solved: the maximum is now 500 profiles.

  • Export/Print problems were provisionally resolved by adding an explanation on how users can enable pop-ups in various browsers.

Profile:

  • In the Essentials tab, the subject link / Big Data Search for potential local meeting ambassadors/contacts functionality has been optimised. When a subject of a meeting is known, the system will automatically search for local representatives in the user’s country, based on the meetings subject (taxonomy). Note that the results will only be displayed when the taxonomy of Google Scholar or Microsoft Academics matches the subject of the meeting. 
  • In the meetings editions overview, Meeting Insiders information is only available to other Meeting Insiders. In the Organising committee/Congress Secretariat section, the function of the contact person and unique id (Acode) have been added. Also the edit date of the meetings editions has been adjusted. Due to a bug it did not always show the correct date. 
  • Business Exchange tab: members could view some of the BE information without having the rights to view these. The privileges have been optimised so only BE participants may see the active BE session information submitted. Some of the Business Exchange information could not be viewed by Business Exchange participants. This bug has been fixed. Users could submit a new Business Exchange form multiple times. This is no longer possible. Note: after approval, the user can still edit the information in the form.
  • In the UIA tab, the bug with some records not being displayed was resolved. Also the scroll issue is resolved so that the text at the bottom can now be read easily.

Print/Pdf:

  • The layout of the pdf has been adjusted so the fields in the meeting editions sections are properly aligned.
  • The bug related to counting records and reporting that the export exceeds 500 records has been fixed.
  • Print to pdf problems were provisionally resolved by adding an explanation on how users can enable pop-ups in various browsers.




New version released on: 6 August 2015 (V2)

Dashboard:

  • Bug in Big Data Search Search for potential local meeting ambassadors/contacts has been fixed in all areas of the Association Database.

New search:

  • Cache problem resolved, so that the page is automatically refreshed.

Result list:

  • Edit date was added to profiles to see when amendments were being made.
  • The organisation’s, general meeting’s (series) and meetings edition’s id’s have been added.

Profile:

  • Essentials tab: Additional scanned info link is only displayed when there’s extra information.
    The notes/member icon bug in the meeting editions overview has been fixed.
    The bug related to the start date of a specific meeting edition not displaying has also been solved.
    In remarks the words are no longer cut-off.
    When multiple countries have been selected in the Advanced search screen, the field: ‘Country local reps.’ will display all relevant countries.
  • Organisation tab: Twitter and LinkedIn accounts have been added (when found by the Research dept.). 
    When the organisation does not appreciate ICCA members using the contact details, the details are removed from the profile and an alert will appear: “The contact details of this international organisation are included in the ICCA database for statistical purposes only. This organisation does not appreciate ICCA members using this information for marketing purposes, so please do not contact them directly.”.
    The size of the tab has been optimised, in the case that Organisation, (Core) PCO and AMS details are listed.
  • Business Exchange tab: BE participants can now edit their submitted form for a limited period of time, even after approval of the administrator.
  • UIA tab: error message has been fixed.

Bookmarks:

  • Bookmarks can be printed and exported from the Bookmark page in the correct order.

Notes:

  • Notes can now be exported and printed from this section.
  • Several bugs have been solved and the notes section has been optimised.

Export:

  • The pop-up is now displaying a message when the selection exceeds 500 records.
  • In the MS Excel file, an explanation of all fields has been added to the first sheet.

Print:

  • The organisation and meeting remarks have been added to the print/pdf versions.
  • A tick box option has been added under the section: 'Meeting profiles' where the user can choose to print: Basic meeting edition information or Full meeting edition profile.

Bug fixes:

  • Navigation button: ‘New search’ now also works from the ‘Hot leads’ section.
  • The dates and attendance numbers are no longer recognised as telephone numbers in tablets.

User Manual:

  • The User Manual can now also be downloaded as a pdf (from the User Manual's main screen).




New version released on: 23 June 2015 (V1)

Advanced search:

  • The ‘i' help pop-up has been added to the search screen, including links to the User Manual.
  • The boxes of the minimum/maximum attendance have been enlarged.
  • In “Save” selection the box to enter the name of your search has been enlarged.

Result list:

  • The member now has the option to display 10, 20, 30 or 50 profiles per page in the Result list.
  • The filters are now in the same order as the fields in the Advanced Search screen.

Profile:

  • Organisation contacts who have requested to be removed from the Association Database Online will no longer be displayed in the Organisation tab.
  • When the organisation is responsible for organising multiple meetings, these meeting names will all be displayed in the Organisation tab (without having to scroll down in the list).
  • Business Exchange (BE) tab: Members participating in the Business Exchange will receive a personalised link through which they can submit a new BE form which will automatically be connected to the meeting profile in the Association Database. The BE form will immediately be available in the meeting profile (pending for approval, read only, under the Business Exchange tab). After approval, the BE participant will receive an email and the BE form can be edited by the BE participant. Approx. two weeks prior to the ICCA Congress, all BE forms will become available for BE participants.
    Approx. 6 months after the ICCA Congress, the BE forms will become available to all ICCA members.
  • Meeting edition(s): if an ICCA member was the Organising Committee and/or Secretariat, this will be highlighted in the specific meeting edition(s) with a green ‘M’. The name of the member will link to the members’ profile in the ICCA Membership Directory Online.
  • Grey coloured, incomplete profiles can now also be updated via the link "Report an Update" in the grey bar at the top of the profile.

Export:

  • A new sheet has been added to the export, explaining data protection legislation and the description of all fields. The tabs have been renamed to:
    Sheet 1: Important notes
    Sheet 2: Essentials
    Sheet 3: Essentials (incomplete)
    Sheet 4: Meeting editions
    Sheet 5: Meeting editions (incomplete)
  • The bug related to exporting up to a maximum of 500 records has been fixed.
  • In the exported Excel document, Sheet: Essentials (incomplete), the field SCODE has been moved next to the SNAME.

Print:

  • Website has been added to the Organisation details in the pdf/print version.
  • Section ‘Basic’ no longer contains Business Exchange profile (so it looks similar to the ‘Advanced’ print option of the previous version of the Association Database).
  • ‘Select profiles’ bug has been fixed: the ticked profiles will be remembered when changing other print options.

Bookmarks:

  • The bug related to the bookmark star has been fixed.
  • Bookmarks can be printed and exported from the Bookmarks section.

Notes:

  • The Notes interface has been slightly adjusted to avoid members from deleting their notes.

User Manual:

  • Several sections of the User Manual have been updated and extended. Please refer to “Recently updated articles” on the User Manual Dashboard.
  • Session expiry of users has been extended.
